About the Queer StoRIes Project

The Queer StoRIes Project is a community-driven initiative dedicated to collecting and preserving the oral histories of LGBTQ+ individuals in Rhode Island. Our mission is to amplify queer voices and provide a platform where their stories can be shared, celebrated, and remembered for future generations.

We believe that every story holds value, and our goal is to highlight the diverse experiences of queer Rhode Islanders, from struggles and triumphs to everyday life. Through interviews, archives, and events, we foster a sense of belonging and build bridges across generations.
